Classic Pork & Shrimp Wonton

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well, cover the bowl, and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours.

  2. Refer to video below to learn how to wrap a wonton in several ways. Place 1/2 Tbsp of wonton filling in the center of the wonton wrapper. Always use water to seal the edges of the wrapper.

Notes

  • Twin Marquis has different types of wonton wrappers. We used the Shanghai style large wrappers; it holds more fillings and a bit thicker skin. It also doesn't have yellow food coloring in it.

  • If you want thinner wrapper, go for the Hong Kong style wonton wrappers (yellow in color).

  • Both styles are great for boiling, deep frying, and pan frying.
